Welcome to your journey into the foundational aspects of 3D Modeling! This course is carefully designed to unravel the intriguing world of digital sculpting, shaping your understanding from the ground up. You will learn the core principles of creating three-dimensional objects and environments, focusing on mesh manipulation, texturing, lighting, and rendering. We will harness industry-leading software to bring your concepts to life, transforming basic shapes into intricate models.
Whether you aspire to be a game designer, animator, or a digital artist exploring the 3D space, this course aims to equip you with the skills and confidence to model your imagination. In this introductory course we will model, texture and light, a basic character from scratch. This class meets once a week for 4 weeks. Each session is 2.5 hours long. Students must have/bring their own laptop to participate. Welcome to the first step of your 3D modeling journey!

My name is Sam Collins. I am a Motion Graphics Designer who specializes in creating dynamic 3d visuals and animations. My goal is to teach you the very basics of modeling, texturing, and lighting within 3d software. This class meets once a week for 4 weeks. Each session is 2.5 hours long. Over the course of this class student will learn to model, texture and light a basic 3d character. Students will also gain life-time access to my discord which offers additional learning opportunities and a space to ask questions and further develop your skills.
